CBNNews.com - MINNEAPOLIS - A volunteer search team found the bodies of two young brothers encased in ice on the Red Lake Indian Reservation Sunday, more than four months after they disappeared, authorities said.

Tristan Anthony White, four, and Avery Lee Stately, two, had been missing since November 22. The two boys, who lived on the reservation near the Canadian border, disappeared while playing outside their home.
"Today our worst fears were confirmed," said FBI agent Ralph Boelter.
The boys were found about a half-mile from where they lived. Authorities have not determined whether foul play was involved, Boelter said.
The lake was initially searched by divers in November as part of a massive search in the days after their disappearance. That search was called off five days after the boys vanished, and Boelter said rescuers resumed on Sunday in hopes the warmer weather would help.
Police dogs picked up a scent on the southern portion of the lake on Sunday morning and the boys were found in the northern portion of the lake near a beaver dam, Boelter said.
Authorities don't know what happened to the brothers. One theory is that the boys wandered from their home about a quarter-mile to the southern edge of the lake, then walked across the partially frozen water before falling through the ice, Boelter said.

Alicia White, the mother of the boys, and Jeff Stately, the father of Avery, have both said previously they believed someone abducted the children.
Authorities plan to conduct autopsies on the boys in the coming days, which Boelter said could help them determine exactly what happened.

The Red Lake reservation is the same place where 16-year-old Jeff Weise killed his grandfather and grandfather's companion on March 21, 2005, then went to the high school and killed seven more people, including a teacher and a security guard, before killing himself.

I am a life-member of NAMBLA known to Tom Reeves, his long time friend Mike, some Baltimore members Jim and others - but have been out of circulation for some time with severe depression.

I have been silent but would like to re-engage.At one time, I wrote up some stuff which got published, attended the SF chapter/conference, and DC conference, and contributed a few thousand dollars to NAMBLA when it seemed most needed.

I hesitate to use my full name, so I was known as "Joel H." or "Jay H."I have been a strong advocate of child rights, but took issue with the anarchistic approach NAMBLA takes, and tried to steer NAMBLA towards a more libertarian perspective which involves recognizing the relative inadequacy children have for making prudent choices that suggests they should be monitored if they wish to try any addictive item such as sex, drugs, or smoking.

I recommended testing for ability/maturity as a way to "emancipate" children regardless of age, licencing/training for boylovers to help the system adapt and monitor our progress, supporting parental-involvement/responsibility in man/boy pairing/relationships much as the ancient greeks did, and encouraging stability via nurturing making love OVER casual playful sex due to the addictive qualities of "junk sex" (like junk food).

During the DC conference, I was asked to join the steering committee by Jim.Independently, I have written many editorial articals which have been published in a variety of papers across the country and overseas. I also wrote the ACLU when my career collapsed due to depression, attempting to file suit against the US government for violating my rights as a gay boy leading to chronic depression in childhood, and later as a boyloving adult with continuing needs being met by contining harm from oppression. Unfortunately the ACLU said it was not an appropriate time to engage the courts in this area. I am pleased to see that NAMBLA has finally secured their assistance.In any case, I want to move somewhere safer than here (tennessee) and perhaps you can make some recommendations. I've had trouble overseas because of the tremendous ageism which eminates from US media/influence - along with the expectations of prostitution from younger gays which I do not feel right about - it seems better to fight the good fight here at home. So I would first solicit your input on the best cities to live in as a boylover, preferably those with NAMBLA chapters, or where I might start one that could find a tolerant location. My finances are limited, so I can probably not afford the most expensive cities like NY, SFC or Boston. These are places I'm considering:Columbus Pittsburg Philladelphia. Any input would be most appreciated. And I hope you or someone there has time to write me back. I've lost touch with everyone, i would only know to use "The Guide" to get back in touch with some of the guys.

The vermin pictured above is Herman May, one of the most disturbing and dangerous predators of children we have ever encountered. He called himself "Herman Monster" online, and a monster is exactly what he is.
Trolling the internet looking for underage victims for sexual assault encounters, May fortunately found one of our adult female staffers who was posing online as a 13 year-old girl. What transpired made even the most jaded and hardened predator fighters both here and in law enforcement, cringe. May at first was a typical groomer, but it didn't take long for him to get extremely sexually graphic with what he thought was a 13 year-old. In the course of the chats, he rapidly worked to set up a meeting.

We had the FBI lined up and ready to arrest this scum, the only problem was, he didn't want to travel. He wanted the girl to come to HIS house. While we were attempting to convince him of a public meeting place, be began showing his webcam and in June 2005, allowed our decoy to watch via webcam as he molested a REAL 10 year-old girl!
We sent this evidence immediately to the FBI handling the case, and they quickly formed an arrest team and went to May's residence. He was still in the act of sexually assaulting the 10 year-old, when they arrived and arrested him.
May was charged in a multiple count federal indictment which included attempted production of child pornography and possession of child pornography. He was denied bail and later pleaded guilty on all counts, and was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison without parole.
May stands as a clear example to those who claim online trollijng and grooming is a "victimless crime." May's computer was chock full of child pornography images, including ones he produced of the 10 year-old girl he was caught assaulting.

Because of his age, May will probably die in federal custody. No matter, we will continue to follow up on him and watch him no matter how long it takes. We'll profile a new poster boy here every so often, and archive them..

Paul Cottle Record (another brother) was sentenced in the State of Washington to 5 years for child porn (in 2005). He is originally from SLC and is serving a sentence at a federal facility
I've been searching the news archives on Paul Record also. He is due to be released in three years so will be on the registered sex offender registry with his photo when the time comes.
Three frikkin pedophile brothers in their 40's and 50's, all with the middle name of Cottle. All from Utah. Two arrested in Utah, one in the state of Washington. All have ruined children's lives. How many that we don't even know about.

A Champion for Children's rights

Mike Echols, Executive director of Better A Millstone was found dead Friday night after a long battle with Heart Disease and Diabetes. One of the chief reasons for his failing health is believed to be substandard treatment while under the care of the Monterey County Sheriff's Department.
Mike Echols was a dedicated child advocate known throughout the United States. His allies included members from almost every child advocacy organization in the country and the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children.
Throughout his life he received many death threats. But, Mike Echols wasn't afraid of anyone - he simply did what he thought was right. He was never deterred from his mission: to put an end to child abuse and rid the internet of child pornography.
In his wake he left thousands of now-defunct child pornography web sites. Scores of arrests and convictions speak to his effectiveness as a child advocate.
His spirit lives on in Better A Millstone, an organization he founded and was the leader of until his untimely death.
